The seventh matchday of the 2026/27 Ligue 1 season has just concluded, showcasing thrilling games and impressive performances. Below is the Ligue 1 roundup for this matchday.

Le Mans 0-3 Toulouse

Toulouse extended their unbeaten streak on the road in Ligue 1 to six matches with a commanding 3-0 win against Le Mans at Stade Marie-Marvingt, temporarily moving up into the top half of the table. This victory marks Toulouse’s fifth consecutive win in their direct encounters, elevating them to 11th place.

Strasbourg 1-3 PSG

Strasbourg was just 45 minutes away from extending their unbeaten streak to four league games but surrendered their halftime advantage to lose 3-1 at Stade de la Meinau against Paris Saint-Germain, who have now climbed to second place in Ligue 1. This outcome also means Strasbourg have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 26 meetings against PSG (with 2 wins, 6 draws, and 18 losses).

Troyes 1-3 Lens

Florian Thauvin stood out for RC Lens as they secured a 3-1 win over ES Troyes AC, handing Troyes their fifth straight Ligue 1 loss at the Stade de l’Aube. With consecutive league victories, Lens have climbed to 8th place, just 4 points shy of the top four.

Lille 1-1 Brest

Lille had to work hard against Stade Brestois as Olivier Giroud’s penalty secured a 1-1 draw at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, leaving Les Dogues with only one defeat in seven Ligue 1 games this season (4 wins, 2 draws).

Angers 2-5 Marseille

Marseille bounced back from a poor streak (1 win, 6 losses) by rallying from behind to defeat Angers SCO 5-2 at the Stade Raymond-Kopa. This win significantly aids Marseille in recovering from a terrible beginning to their Ligue 1 season (1 win, 4 losses), as back-to-back wins have lifted them up to ninth place.

Lorient 1-0 Monaco

Lorient secured consecutive Ligue 1 victories for the first time in 21 attempts with a 1-0 win over AS Monaco at Stade du Moustoir – Yves Allainmat. This result prevented the visitors from finishing the weekend at the top of the standings. Although the hosts have only won four of their last 11 competitive home matches (with 3 draws and 4 losses), the three points earned have propelled them up six spots in the league table. Monaco now occupy 5th place with 14 points.

Le Havre 1-3 Auxerre

Auxerre stretched their Ligue 1 winning streak to three matches with a late comeback that earned them a 3-1 away victory against Le Havre. This third Ligue 1 win in their last four games keeps Auxerre’s good form going, moving Still’s team up to 12th place in the French top division, while Le Havre stay stuck at the bottom of the standings as the only team yet to secure a win this season.

Lyon 2-1 Nice

Even though they spent the final 20 minutes with only ten players, Lyon managed to secure a 2-1 victory at home against Nice, which propelled them to the top of Ligue 1, ahead of Paris Saint-Germain. Lyon is one of four teams tied with 14 points, but their better goal difference places them in first place after winning five of their last six matches against the team from the Côte d’Azur.
