The information that Liverpool midfielder Arthur is a fortnight ahead of schedule in his recovery from surgery on a thigh injury serves as a boost for Jurgen Klopp.
In the summer, Arthur joined the Reds on loan from Juventus but struggled to make an impact right away. The 26-year-old tore a muscle in October while putting in additional training sessions to get into Klopp’s plans.
Melo had surgery to correct the problem, and it was anticipated that he would be out for up to three months. However, it has been discovered that Arthur is on track to play again sooner than anticipated.
The Daily Mail reports that Arthur is reportedly two weeks ahead of schedule after making remarkable development over the World Cup break. Arthur has joined the Liverpool team in Dubai for some warm-weather training in preparation for the second half of the Premier League season after completing recuperation work in his home Brazil.
The club doctors at Liverpool are said to be “very optimistic” that Arthur, who has been studying more English throughout his injury recovery, will be able to play again by the end of January. The information will be a huge help for Klopp, who earlier this week disclosed that Luis Diaz had experienced a setback in his recuperation.

Klopp promptly dispelled rumors that the club was planning to shorten Arthur’s stay on Merseyside in the coming year owing to the underwhelming outcome of his loan.
In response to the initial report of Arthur’s injury in October, the Reds manager said: “He’s here. It’s a long-term injury and when he’s back, we’ll think about it again. But at the moment, it’s too far away. No [we won’t cut the loan in January].”
In a statement on his Instagram page, he described that he will to bounce back stronger following the setback. Arthur stated back in October: “Last week was not the best for me… Sadly, as you know, an unfortunate injury to my left thigh will keep me out of action for a while. It comes just at time when, after huge effort and lots of hard work, I was ready to establish myself in my new team and determined to fight for my dream of playing at the World Cup.
“It is now time for me to keep my head up and join forces with my family and do everything I need to with my team to make sure I come back stronger as soon as possible. No obstacle will prevent me from progressing in my career and I have great ambition to show what I can do on the pitch.
“In the meantime, I will continue to support my Liverpool teammates and my beloved Brazil national team. Thanks for all the messages of support!”
