Juventus ready to sign experienced Angel Di Maria to add to squad ranks
When Angel Di Maria’s contract ends next month, Paris Saint-Germain is expected to say goodbye to its all-time assist leader. Angel Di Maria would prefer to stay in Europe to prepare for the FIFA World Cup later this year, and Juventus appears to be a likely destination for him.
Reports from Calciomercato says that Juventus is interested in Di Maria because Massimiliano Allegri needs a man with attacking experience to add to his ranks. Furthermore, while Federico Chiesa recovers from his injury, the PSG attacker would be a nice insurance policy.

According to the Italian media source, the two parties may agree to a one-year contract with the possibility of a second. The only remaining stumbling block is the financial aspect of the arrangement. Juventus is said to be unwilling to pay more than €4 million or €5 million in salary for the experienced attacker.

In his seven years at PSG, Di Maria has made over 300 appearances, scoring 91 goals and assisting on 117 occasions.
