Liverpool Remain Confident On Securing A Move For Bellingham

Liverpool is getting more and more certain that they will prevail in the £100 million race to sign emerging English sensation Jude Bellingham.

Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, has reportedly informed the club’s owners over last season that Borussia Dortmund midfielder is his primary aim and that he needs their financial support. The Fenway Sports Group has not reneged on their promise to support Klopp in his efforts to bring youth and energy in the form of 19-year-old Bellingham to Merseyside despite making noises about the potential sale of Liverpool.

And it’s thought that because of a likely friendship with Three Lions teammate Jordan Henderson, Liverpool are ahead of Manchester City, Manchester United, and Real Madrid in the pursuit of the midfielder.

Despite having a 13-year age gap, Henderson and Bellingham get along well. It goes without saying that the Liverpool skipper would have been praising a transfer to Anfield in their free time in Qatar.

Bellingham’s father Mark, who had a significant influence on his decision to leave Birmingham for Dortmund despite receiving special attention from Manchester United, seems to favor moving to Liverpool as the next step.

When the transfer market opens in the following month, Dortmund won’t sell. However, they will let Bellingham to go in the summer if a cost of about £100 million is paid. They have already begun to make preparations for finding a potential replacement.

Bellingham must make a decision on his future step, and a return to the Premier League appears to be the most likely option after Real Madrid spent £60 million on Brazilian phenom Endrick last week. Bellingham has gotten close to Trent Alexander-Arnold as well. Money is scarce at the Santiago Bernabeu at the moment, especially with the Champions League holders’ stadium being renovated.
