Jude Bellingham: Liverpool is reportedly leading in the race to sign Bellingham

Jude Bellingham’s proposed transfer to Liverpool was initially only a matter of rumors, but as time has gone on, it is becoming more true.

The Reds were prepared to wait until the following year to sign Jude Bellingham after making unsuccessful attempts to convince Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

The team decided against adding a midfielder earlier this year, much to the chagrin and disappointment of the fan base. After a few injuries, a hasty loan deal for Arthur Melo was ultimately made.

Along with Bellingham, Liverpool also made an effort to sign French international Aurélien Tchouameni, but he ultimately decided to join Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid. The Reds have made sure they close the deal early this time so they won’t be outdone again next summer.

After numerous rumors connected Jude Bellingham to the Merseyside team, The Reds are now confirming them. Christian Faulk told Anfield Wrap that the player’s mother and father are pushing for the player to move to Liverpool, and that the deal is “very, very close.”

Several clubs have expressed interest in the England star player, but recent reports have eliminated Manchester United from the running and claimed that Real Madrid will have difficulty making the transfer.
