Jadon Sancho, a striker for Manchester United, has resumed training following a prolonged absence.
Since the end of October, Sancho hasn’t played for the Red Devils, and since November, he’s been following a personal training schedule.
Before being left out of Manchester United’s warm-weather training camp ahead to the Premier League’s return, the former Borussia Dortmund star was left off England’s 2022 FIFA World Cup roster.
Jadon Sancho was seen participating in first-team training this week for the first time in more than two months, and it now appears like he will return to action for Man Utd very soon.
Manager Erik ten Hag intimated that Sancho’s problem was both physical and mental when he spoke about the youngster in early January: “With the physical, there’s also a connection of mental.
“I think he’s now making good progress on the physical part and that will help him. I hope he can return quickly but I can’t say how long it will be. In this moment, he is not fit enough, no.”
