Jadon Sancho Is Back In Training But Not Ready To Join The Squad

Ten Hag claimed that Jadon Sancho had been struggling “physically and mentally” following his decline in form.

Jadon Sancho is “making progress” in Manchester, according to Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, but he is not yet ready to reintegrate with the main group. Sancho hasn’t played for Man Utd since the 1-1 draw at Chelsea on October 22.

Sancho, who apparently opted to stop using social media just before the World Cup, skipped United’s warm-weather training camp in Spain in order to practise on his own in the Netherlands with trainers Ten Hag suggested.

When Sancho did not return for the start of United’s season, Ten Hag stated that the 22-year-old had been through “physically and mentally” difficult times and that he was unable to predict how long he would be gone.

Jadon Sancho, who last participated in the October 22 1-1 game with Chelsea, has already returned from the Netherlands, but Ten Hag is taking his time reintegrating the £73 million acquisition into the team.

“The time is not now [for him to return to the squad] but he is making progress,” said Ten Hag, ahead of United’s trip to Wolves on Saturday. “We will see when he is ready to return into the squad.

“He’s back in Manchester, he will start individual training.”
