Arsenal set their eyes on Ferran Torres during the winter transfer window
Arsenal is allegedly considering a deal for Barcelona winger Ferran Torres in the January transfer window as they try to strengthen their team further after a strong start to the season.
Torres was signed for €55 million by Barcelona in January after making a name for himself at Manchester City as one of Spain’s premier young players. It seems Torres is someone the club feels comfortable letting go of less than a year after his arrival due to his uneven playing time, as well as the various concerns regarding Barcelona’s finances and their desire to sell players.

With plenty of forward depth following the transfers of Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha – along with Ousmane Dembele and Ansu Fati already being on the books – and with Torres unable to establish himself as a regular starter, Barcelona is reportedly keen to recover their outlay.
According to Fichajes, Barcelona may take the same amount they paid City for Ferran Torres. After failing to sell Frenkie de Jong this summer, Barcelona are keen to get more players off their books in order to balance their wage books.
