Nicolo Zaniolo Is Set To Join Turkish Side Galatasaray After Failed January Move

Published on:

Roma misfit Nicolo Zaniolo will depart from the Giallorossi today to go to Istanbul to finalise his transfer to Galatasaray.

In light of how Zaniolo ended up remaining at Roma and even skipping training over the last month, Roma withdrew him from their technical project. Gala are, however, very close to giving Zaniolo a permanent contract and putting an end to his suffering.

If all goes according to plan with the remaining paperwork, Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Italian would depart for Istanbul today.

His current contract will have a €35 million release clause, and he will sign a four-year deal with the Giallorossi. Roma expects to make between €20 million and €22 million from the forward’s sale. During his tenure with the team, he will make €3.5 million annually.

Zaniolo’s agent Claudio Vigorelli will be in Rome today to finalise the deal, and Alfredo Pedulla has already stated that his release clause may become operative in the summer.
