Jose Mourinho Is Reportedly Having Issues With Roma’s Sporting Director

The disagreement over transfer activity is ruining Jose Mourinho’s relationship with Roma’s sporting director.

Following his rejection of the opportunity to join Portugal, Mourinho recently said he was glad to remain at Roma. The Roma manager reportedly won’t be present at the news conference before the Giallorossi’s crucial Serie A match against Fiorentina on Monday.

Tiago Pinto and Mourinho are under stress, and their separation and coldness is growing. Their divergent views on how the club is approaching the transfer window are the cause of the conflict. They are said to have different perspectives on the team and Roma’s goals.

Nicolo Zaniolo hasn’t scored for the team in the league at the Olimpico in more than three years, and there are no meetings scheduled to discuss extending his contract, which expires in 2024. Both Jose Mourinho and Pinto’s contracts end in 2024, and it was suggested that it would not be unexpected to see one or more of those three leave the club this summer.
