Pogba is alleged to have declined a relocation to rivals, Manchester City. Pogba is said to have been anxious about the inevitable criticism he would receive from United supporters.
According to the Times, Pogba believes that making the high-profile move to the Etihad would make living in Manchester “unbearable.”
In 2009, Carlos Tevez switched from the red to the blue side of Manchester.
It was a controversial choice among supporters of the Red Devils.
Pogba’s pay demands were met, and he was given the opportunity to play first-team football. Paul Pogba is said to have informed the club two weeks ago that he has decided to transfer abroad instead.
